Savings & Financial Literacy Training
This program raises awareness of financial risks and opportunities and builds the capacities of communities to make informed choices for effective financial well-being and improving their own living conditions. Habitat Zambia facilitates linkages with various financial institutions. More Information
WASH Progarm
Since inception, we have installed 68 communal water stations reaching out to over 61,000 individuals in Lusaka, Kabwe and Ndola’s peri-urban communities. The model of delivery ensures that the community fully participates in the interventions as well as the management of the water points.More Information
Vulnerable Group Housing
Habitat considers decent housing to be a fundamental human right and a critical springboard out of poverty. We have partnered with vulnerable families to build
more than 4,000 homes. We either leverage land offered by municipalities for new housing or focus on existing slum areas.More Information
Advocacy Program
The ultimate key goal for this program is to facilitate policy change and systems to ensure increased access to secure land and decent shelter. Through this program, Habitat Zambia aims to increase awareness on land right issues at both community and national levels by working in partnerships with all the stakeholders and mainly the policy makers like the Government. People Public Private Partnerships (P4)
A P4 is a mutually beneficial and well-defined partnership entered between the people, public sector, and the private sector for achieving a commonly agreed upon goal and objectives by pooling resources and sharing risks. P4s provide a platform for innovation to convert challenges into business opportunities.More Information
