Habitat for Humanity Zambia Participates in Inaugural Built Environment Indaba

Habitat for Humanity Zambia is participating in a two-day inaugural Built Environment Indaba being held under the theme “Bridging the Gap for Inclusive Growth.” The Indaba was officially opened today by the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Charles Milupi MP, who represented the President of the Republic of Zambia, His Excellency,  Mr. Hakainde Hichilema.

The Indaba has been facilitated by the professional bodies in the built environment in Zambia namely the Zambia Institute of Architects, Zambia Institute of Planners, Surveyors Institute of Zambia, Engineering Institute of Zambia, and the Zambia Institute of Estate Agents. Participation for the Indaba has further been drawn from leading firms in the construction industry, academia and other private sector institutions.

As Habitat for Humanity Zambia, we believe that our goal of attaining a Zambia where everyone has a decent place to live can be achieved through partnership building and strengthening. Our participation in this Indaba speaks to our commitment to advocate for decent housing for all.
