This morning, we hosted an inauguration ceremony of His Royal Highness Chief Dr. Mumena as Patron of Habitat for Humanity Zambia marked with joyous songs and dances.
In his remarks as Guest of Honour, Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Elijah Muchima, underscored Government’s commitment to ensuring all citizens have security of tenure through the National Land Titling Programme that commenced in 2014.
Meanwhile, His Royal Highness Chief Dr. Mumena expressed gratitude for inaugurating him as patron of Habitat for Humanity Zambia and called for enhanced people-public-private-partnerships in the land and housing sector that will go a long way in eradicating housing poverty and in the attainment of the National Lands Policy of 2021 and the National Housing Policy of 2020.
