Habitat for Humanity Zambia invites you to engage in a transformative volunteering for development opportunity through its Global Village program (GV). The program is embarking on an exciting new chapter with a series of improvements designed to enhance its impact and relevance.
The Global Village program improvements focus on four main elements: a people-centered approach, a volunteering for development framework, embedded duty of care, and transparency in volunteering activities and commitments. These changes aim to better align the Global Village program with Habitat for Humanity’s Theory of Change, emphasizing community-led goals and sustainable development outcomes. By embracing these enhancements, the Global Village program seeks to foster equitable, dignified, and culturally sensitive international collaborations.
