Global Village Program

Calling All Volunteers: Join Our Global Village Program as a Catalyst for Change!

Habitat for Humanity Zambia invites you to engage in a transformative volunteering for development opportunity through its Global Village program (GV). The program is embarking on an exciting new chapter with a series of improvements designed to enhance its impact and relevance.
The Global Village program improvements focus on four main elements: a people-centered approach, a volunteering for development framework, embedded duty of care, and transparency in volunteering activities and commitments. These changes aim to better align the Global Village program with Habitat for Humanity’s Theory of Change, emphasizing community-led goals and sustainable development outcomes. By embracing these enhancements, the Global Village program seeks to foster equitable, dignified, and culturally sensitive international collaborations. This shift ensures that local communities are at the forefront of shaping outcomes, with Global Village volunteers supporting and contributing to these efforts in meaningful ways.
We invite Global Volunteer teams, comprising 10 to 15 members, to join us from March to November annually. Volunteers contribute valuable insights and skills, enhancing the success of various development projects. Join this transformative opportunity to make a meaningful difference!
