Earlier today, Habitat for Humanity Zambia and the Zambia Institute of Architects signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that is aimed at collaborating on technical solutions for low cost housing for vulnerable people in the country.
Zambia is currently facing a housing deficit of over 1.5 million housing units that largely affects low-income families. It is therefore imperative that like-minded stakeholders come together to provide affordable and scalable solutions in the housing sector.
The MoU signing is complementary to our People Public Private Partnerships (P4) initiative.
