We were privileged this morning to pay a courtesy call on the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Elijah Muchima, and the Permanent Secretary Ms. Daphne Chabu.
Our Resource Development and Communications Manager Fred Nkowe, representing the National Director, highlighted our commitment to compliment governments efforts in the implementation of the National Lands Policy and domestication of regional and global protocols on land such as the far reaching Sustainable Development Goals.
The Minister was grateful for our efforts in enhancing security of tenure in informal settlements and recommended a formal partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding between his ministry and Habitat for Humanity Zambia.
